If you really want to improve your life, invite the whole family! You can take small bites in the garden and then go to the park. Then, you can incorporate it into your dog walk. It is important to make it a lifestyle choice, not a chore. You will reap the benefits of your efforts. Is that motivating?
Why? Because I hate working out?Absolutely not! But, because we can focus on ways to stay fit and healthy and not worry about how many sessions we can squeeze in and still have time for everything else. We can also think about how to get to the gym if we don’t have a babysitter. OR. You don’t have the energy to return to the gym after a long work day.
It is possible to exercise in small chunks for a maximum of ten minutes per day. This removes the main barrier to exercising: time. Let’s take a look at other obstacles we can overcome!
- Barrier 1: You don’t need to go to a gym to do the exercises that will get your whole body moving at an appropriate intensity. You can do them at home, in your garden, or in the park.
- Barrier 2: Insufficient money. You are the equipment.
- Barrier 3: Lacking motivation. Only ten minutes of moderate-intensity is required. You only need to work for ten minutes at a moderately high intensity.
